Today we unveil prospects #16 – #20!
#16 Cameron Christie Cameron Christie 6'4" | SG Rolling Meadows | 2023 State #76 Nation IL (Rolling Meadows – 2023)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Christie is the younger brother of the top 2021 prospect on this list, but the sophomore is a big time player in his own right. Slick scorer that can get buckets from multiple levels with an effortless pull up jump shot and the ease which with he handles the basketball getting to his spots to operate.
#17 Louis Lesmond Louis Lesmond 6'5" | SF Niles Notre Dame | 2021 State #163 Nation IL (Niles Notre Dame – 2021)
Last Year’s Rank: #20
Lesmond is headed to Harvard next year which he chose over an array of high-major offers. Plus athlete that plays above the rim and can really shoot it from three. Like how well he moves without the ball to get open and set up his shot from deep. Crisp and precise movements both with and without the ball.
#18 Jalen Quinn Jalen Quinn 6'3" | PG Tuscola | 2022 State #136 Nation IL (Tuscola – 2022)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Quinn is the top junior point guard in the state. The Tuscola guard emerged after a strong sophomore campaign where he was dominant. He opened our eyes even more playing against a higher level of competition at the Illinois Wolves fall workouts where he dominated with his passing flair, scoring, and overall competitiveness.
#19 Kam Craft Kam Craft 6'5" | SF TSF | 2022 State #54 Nation GA (Buffalo Grove – 2022)
Last Year’s Rank: NR
Craft is a born bucket getter. This kid just knows how to get it done from all three levels. Bit of a unique looking jumper, but it goes in at a solid clip. More than just a shooter he is smooth taking it off the bounce and is remarkably effective in the open floor.
#20 Jaylen Drane Jaylen Drane 6'2" | PG Simeon | 2022 State IL (Simeon – 2022)
Last Year’s Rank: #7
Drane is an athletic combo guard that can play both on or off the ball. Crisp ball handler that can shake defenders getting in the lane for scores, use his burst in transition, and flashes a jumper. Shows potential as a passer. That is the next step for him to become a big time player.
