Hamilton is a physical athlete who finds away to get the ball into the hoop at whatever the cost is. He has a solid mid-range jumper that can cause havoc for opponents to cover. Hamilton’s blend of size and length allows him to corrupt passing lanes. He finds the moving cutters in the flow and knows where the shooters are. If he has you sealed on the block it’s over. Hamilton also runs the floor effortlessly and finishes above the rim.
Darryl Jones 5’8 ’22
Jones is a utility guard who helps contribute to the team on either end of the ball. He has a nice mid-range off the dribble. He gets downhill well and uses his speed to elude defenders when inside the lane. He sits in a stance on defense and keeps his feet moving. Jones is effective starting the break and is in the correct spots on the floor on offense.
Elijah Hamilton 6’4 ‘23
Hamilton is a calm bucket getter who lets the game come to him. He thrives in the transition off the game and makes plays in transition. He is an assertive defender who boxes out well and stays in a stance on defense. Hamilton blocks shots and crashes the glass to come up with 2nd chance efforts.
Shatto is a skilled post player who has a versatile offensive game despite only being a sophomore. He can play with his back to the rim or out on the perimeter. Shatto can play off of two feet around the rim. He uses his size well and exploits mismatches. Shatto also has a knack for swatting away opponent’s shots. Shatto moves well without the ball and sets hard screens. His best basketball is still ahead of him.
Zach Kirk 5’9 ‘24
Despite being only a freshman Kirk is patient when he gets into the lane. He catches defenders with fakes and sees plays into existence. Kirk gets up into your grill defensively and slides his feet. He runs the break thoroughly and can score off the dribble.
