The NCHSAA season has produced a solid number of standouts in the junior class. Here’s a look at Part II of the 4A junior prospects that are making names for themselves.

Wimbley made noise on the grassroots scene with WatchUs Work and has carried that over to the high school stage with South View. He leads the team in scoring (20.4 ppg) while also posting 3.6 rpg, 3.5 apg and 2.1 spg. He’s relentless getting to the paint and finishing in traffic and even more lethal as a perimeter shooter. He posted a season-high 38 points while knocking down seven 3-pointers against Overhills then put up 30 points on four made 3-pointers this past Friday against them in their second meeting.

King has done well as a new face in the South Garner rotation in 2020-21. He’s averaging 11.8 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 1.9 apg while also shooting 40 percent from the field and from behind the arc. He’s a three-level scorer in their backcourt that also has a strong knack for the rebounding the basketball. He put up 25
