One of the best kept secrets in the state, Raleigh Christian Academy Freshman Guard Nick Anthony Nick Anthony 6'3" | CG Raleigh Christian Academy | 2023 State NC continues to play at a high level which included a career night on Monday. Anthony went for 48 Points for his team, making big time plays down the stretch and continuing to make his case as one of the top prospects in NC for 2024. Don’t let the big time scoring game fool you, he’s a willing passer which is why he’s ranked #1 in the state in Assist per game.
Scotland Christian & SAU signee Brodie Clark Brodie Clark 6'1" | CG Scotland Christian Academy | 2021 State NC has put together an amazing high school career and he surpassed the 2,000 point mark on Monday in a win over Liberty Christian. Clark finished the game with 37 Points but also impacted the game with outstanding rebounding and facilitating as well. He will be staying home to play college ball and we feel the transition for him should be pretty smooth, he’s one of those players that’s going to find ways to impact the game regardless.
Bishop McGuinness Junior Wing Dawson McAlhany Dawson McAlhany 6'4" | CG Bishop McGuiness | 2022 State NC came up big time for his team in their win over East Forsyth on Monday night. The 6’5 wing made plays inside and out, using his wingspan as well his height to make plays on both ends of the floor. He has plenty of upside and will be one to keep an eye for the remainder of the season.
This was our 2nd time seeing him and we left more impressed with his performance this time around. Freedom Christian Junior Wing Jacob Dar shows flashes of how good he can be and has some of the physical tools that catches your attention. He attacks the basket aggressively ,can knock down shots and even showed some ballhandling skills.
East Forsyth Sophomore Guard Will Gray Will Gray 6'2" | CG East Forsyth | 2023 State NC continues to impress with the way he controls the game, showcasing an IQ that is beyond his age. He gives the same amount of effort on both ends of the floor and understands how to use his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end which leads to easy offense.
