Lou Hutchinson Lou Hutchinson 6'5" | SG Long Island Lutheran | 2022 State NY ’22 6’5″ W – RJ continued to prove he’s one of the most versatile players from the area. His strength allows him to operate inside and collect rebounds. He’s capable of playing in the post with his back to the basket but he can also step outside and knock down the three. RJ’s body control and ability to penetrate to the rim makes him an immediate mismatch.
Issac Gonzalez ’22 6’0″ PG – Issac played in attack mode throughout the scrimmage. He has able to speed up the tempo while scanning the floor to navigate activity. Issac is quick with the ball which allows him to create space, play downhill, and effectively operate in the open court. He’s a true competitor who anticipates passing lanes and causes a ton of deflections.
Orlando Wallace Orlando Wallace 6'9" | PF Iona Prep | 2022 NY ’22 6’9″ W – Orlando showed flashes of his potential on both ends. He was able to use his size to control the paint and contest multiple shots. He has a soft touch around the rim and the ability to keep rebounds alive. Orlando is also a solid rim runner who gets up and down the court fluidly.
Matt Garside Matt Garside 6'2" | SG Kings Park | 2023 State NY ’23 58″ PG – Blaise is a scrappy defender with a sturdy build and high basketball IQ. He competes hard on both ends of the floor. He had a number of impressive passes and continuously put his court vision on display. He will contribute in the backcourt as a playmaker and shot maker.
Bengaly Berete ’23 6’5″ WF – Bengaly is a long-term prospect with a ton of upside. He’s a thin wiry wing with intriguing length. He was very active on both ends finding different ways to make an impact on the game.
