6-0 PG Montez Redding Montez Redding 6'2" | PG Jonesboro | 2024 State GA – Forest Park
One of the best guards the class has to offer, Montez Redding Montez Redding 6'2" | PG Jonesboro | 2024 State GA is the complete package. He is loaded with athleticism and natural skill. Redding stuffs the stat sheet nightly averaging 11 points, 5.4 rebounds 4.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 1 block. He has a good feel for the game and a nose for the ball that puts him in every possession. Redding has the ball on a string and can make one quick move to get to the basket where he has the strength to absorb contact. Montez can also burn teams from deep with three-point shooting. Continuing to learn how to change speeds and protect the ball in key moments will help Redding down the line. He has a very bright future.
6-7 W Micah Smith Micah Smith 6'7" | SF Sandy Creek | 2024 State #144 Nation GA – Sandy Creek
Playing on a state title favorite, Micah Smith Micah Smith 6'7" | SF Sandy Creek | 2024 State #144 Nation GA has seen big minutes early on in his career. He’s a matchup nightmare with his skills on the perimeter. Smith can take his man inside and punish them on the block or beat them off the dribble outside. At 6-foot-7, Smith shows no signs of being a gangly youngster – he has complete control of his limbs and is agile for his age and size. Micah can push the ball in transition and start his own fast breaks. Defensively he is capable of guarding nearly every position on the floor. He’s averaging 5.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists. He has as high a ceiling as anyone in the 2024 class.
6-9 PF Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 6'9" | C Overtime Elite (GA) | 2024 #145 Nation GA – Hebron Christian
Williams has shown flashes of his upside throughout the season. He possesses great length and will get better and better as he adds on weight. He’s a shot blocker inside that can change attempts at the rim. He runs the floor well but will need to continue to develop go-to moves on the block. Jayden’s move to Hebron Christian has made the Lions a scary team come tournament time.
5-8 PG Elijah Coleman – Portal
The undersized playmaker is the engine for Portal averaging 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 4.3 steals. Coleman attacks the paint and draws contact. He’s gone 87-134 (65%) from the line. He is a confidence three-point shooter but will need to be more accurate (28-122; 23%).
6-0 G Joseph Thomas – Portal
Joseph Thomas is a streaky three-point shooter (39-114; 34%) that can at times carry the Panthers from deep. He’s more of a standstill set shooter, but Thomas can create off the dribble and get to the paint when needed. Thomas averages 16 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals.
6-4 F Amir Jackson – Portal
In Year 1, Amir Jackson has cemented himself as a double-double man averaging 13.1 points and 10.4 rebounds. Jackson plays above the rim, able to finish alley oops and putback dunks to get the crowd into it. The energy Jackson brings with his effort on the glass and above the rim gives the Panthers a boost.
