As we go through all the film available from the HoopSource President’s Day Showcase, we have seen a number of players we are familiar with who have made some strides on their development curve. As we gather data for our next rankings update, we foresee a shift upward for a few guys. Here’s a look at the top stock risers from last weekend’s action.

Considering Malcolm is already in the top five he’s not going to really rise much in terms of raw numbers, but there’s no question that the super-athletic 6-foot-4 swingman is trending upward. He was physically dominant at times over the weekend and even showed that he was capable of knocking down perimeter shots. Malcolm’s immense potential is obvious as he continues to develop his perimeter skills.

After seeing him perform over the weekend, we are convinced that Axmaker is one of the best deep shooters in the state. The 6-foot lead guard is a threat to pull-up from practically anywhere within the half-court line and he was draining threes from well beyond three-point range. Far from just a shooter,
