Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top standouts from an exciting Friday night of hoops. It’s only the middle of February, but it felt like March Madness with some of the dramatic shots, plus another record-setting performance.

Griffin Kliewer 6’4 Summit Christian: The 2021 Indiana Wesleyan recruit scored 20 points in a 74-73 victory over Van Horn. However, it was the final three points that were the most dramatic as his off balance, nearly falling out of bounds triple as time expired gave SCA the wild and exciting victory.

The 55 points was not only a school record, but also a single-game record in the city of Springfield. He also hit 10 3-pointers in the game, which also tied a school record.

He scored on a game-tying layup with 30 seconds left in regulation, then knocked down a pull-up 15-footer as time
