Griffin Kliewer 6’4 Summit Christian: The 2021 Indiana Wesleyan recruit scored 20 points in a 74-73 victory over Van Horn. However, it was the final three points that were the most dramatic as his off balance, nearly falling out of bounds triple as time expired gave SCA the wild and exciting victory.
Zach Howell Zach Howell 6'4" | SG Springfield Catholic | 2022 State MO 6’3 Springfield Catholic: The 2022 guard shot himself into the record books with a 55-point performance in a victory over Mt. Vernon. The 55 points was not only a school record, but also a single-game record in the city of Springfield. He also hit 10 3-pointers in the game, which also tied a school record.
Roddy Alexander Roddy Alexander 6'1" | PG Christian-O'Fallon | 2021 State MO 6’0 O’Fallon-Christian: The 2021 guard scored a game high 26 points and provided the late game heroics in the Eagles 57-55 victory over DuBourg. He scored on a game-tying layup with 30 seconds left in regulation, then knocked down a pull-up 15-footer as time expired to give Christian the win.
Preston Fortner Preston Fortner 5'10" | PG Francis Howell | 2021 State MO 5’10 Francis Howell: The 2021 point guard scored 22 points and dominated the fourth quarter and overtime periods as the Vikings escaped with an 82-76 victory at Troy. Fortner scored 19 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime periods as the Vikings rallied from an eight-point deficit.
Kaleb Wofford Kaleb Wofford 6'3" | SG Nixa | 2021 State MO 6’2 Nixa: The 2021 shooting guard displayed his marksmanship last night in the Eagles’ victory over Webb City. Wofford made a school-record eight 3-pointers to lead Nixa to its 19th victory of the season.
Lawson Beem 5’10 Skyline: The 2022 guard scored a game-high 28 points to lead Skyline to a 65-52 victory over Stratford in a big Mid Lakes Conference showdown.
Bennett Stirtz 6’5 Liberty: The versatile 6’5 forward scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Blue Jays 71-57 victory over Park Hill in a big Suburban KC Conference game on Friday night.
