As I write these articles, sometimes I sit and reflect on my hero: Dr. James Naismith. The man that I have to thank for providing a way for me to complete my undergraduate education, the reason I have this job, and a tremendous role model with an immaculate mustache. In fact, I am tempted to set up a peach basket in my room in order to truly get into the headspace that Dr. Naismith must have been in when he first graced the world with his invention of "basketball." Now, so many years later, we still continue to use the game to produce so many opportunities across the world, and Idaho is no exception. Timberline vs. Skyview: In a local 5A SIC matchup, Timberline was able to sneak away with a 3 point victory. For Timberline, their recipe for success consisted of great free throw shooting down the stretch and defensive stops when it mattered most.
