Prep Hoops took the drive into Marion County last night to catch a Class 2A Playoff in Swamp Fox Country. The Andrew Jackson HS Volunteers came to town to play the Marion HS Swamp Foxes. Marion HS jumped out to a 7-0 lead behind the play of TJ SandersTJSanders6'5" | PFMarion | 2021StateSC a University of South Carolina Football signee. The Volunteers battled back and took the lead at 6:09 of the 2nd quarter at 15-14. The Volunteers went into the halftime break with a 26-20 lead. 

Andrew Jackson HS would hold the lead until the 3:01 mark of the 4th quarter when Marion Senior Mac WashingtonMacWashington6'3" | SGMarion | 2021StateSC hit a short jumper in the lane to give the Swamp Foxes a 47-46 lead. The Volunteers would prevail down the stretch outscoring the the Swamp Foxes 8-2 to finish the game off in a 54-49 victory on the road.

This trio scored 47 points for Danny Wright’s squad. Sowell was clutch down the stretch going (4-4) from the foul line
