Will a new team take over the reins this season ? Read more inside.  Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS (18-1)  The Red Raiders have been cruising a long all season long. The Red Raiders (18-1) with its only setback to Dillon Christian over the Christmas Holiday at the Carolina Invitational. Jacoby Crosby Jacoby Crosby 6'4" | SG Bamberg-Ehrhardt | 2021 State SC (Voorhees commit), Justin Baxter Justin Baxter 6'7" | PF Bamberg-Ehrhardt | 2021 State SC and Brenden Williams Brenden Williams 6'5" | PF Bamberg-Ehrhardt | 2021 State SC leading the way. The Red Raiders have had quite a turnaround from a season ago when they finished (6-13).  Crosby a left-handed rangy wing player plays for his father here on the Red Raiders roster. Crosby is averaging 18.4 ppg and 5.8 rebounds.  Baxter has been a double-double guy all season long in the paint. Baxter is averaging 12.7 ppg, 13.4 rebounds and 3 blocks per game for the Red Raiders. Williams a undersized post player is the glue guy to the team and comes in with 12.1 ppg and 6.1 rebounds a outing.  Scott’s Branch HS (Summerton) (9-2)  The Eagles just recently split with the Carver’s Bay HS Bears in region play. Randy Gibson Randy Gibson 6'1" | CG Scott's Branch | 2023 State SC , Tariq Coard Tariq Coard 6'4" | SF Scott's Branch | 2021 State SC , Montrez Sinkler Montrez Sinkler 6'1" | SG Scott's Branch | 2022 State SC . The Eagles lost last season in the Class 1A State Championship Game to Great Falls HS.  Southside Christian (12-0)  The Sabres Ian Thomson Ian Thomson 6'10" | PF Southside Christian | 2021 State SC , is headed off to Anderson University (SC) (NCAA D2) next fall. The Sabres have defeated McCormick HS twice this season in the region.  McCormick HS (12-4)  The Chiefs have lost 2 games to unbeaten Southside Christian in region play. The Chiefs have 7 seniors on the roster this season for Head Coach Rico Salliewhite. Darius Sibert is leading the way with 14 ppg and 8 rebounds a night. The Chiefs will head to Whitmire this evening.  Military Magnet (North Charleston) (5-1)  The Eagles  go through Tre’Von Spillers Tre’Von Spillers 6'6" | SF Military Magnet | 2021 State SC when they need a bucket. Spillers a left-handed rangy forward is averaging 26 ppg this season for the Eagles after 6 games. Spillers really excels in the transition game.  Carvers Bay HS (10-3)  The Bears still have 3 more region games to play after splitting with Scott’s Branch HS. Tevin Young Tevin Young 5'8" | PG Carvers Bay | 2022 State SC a left-handed junior point guard and Montenius "MJ" Bromell lead the way. Young is averaging 10.8 ppg while Bromell is right behind at 10.6 ppg. Head Coach Jeff Mezzatesta recently picked up his 300th career win.  CA Johnson (5-0)  The Hornets play in downtown Columbia a bit off the grid. Baptist Hill (Hollywood) (4-0)  The Bobcats play down in the Lowcountry. I really honestly can’t tell you much about this group just southwest of Charleston on Highway 17.  Noteworthy Mentions  Johnsonville HS point guard Quez Lewis Quez Lewis 5'8" | PG Johnsonville | 2021 State SC just reached the 1,000 points career plateau in a win over Timmonsville HS. Lewis a point guard recorded 31 points last night in a tough loss to Hannah-Pamplico HS 61-56. The Red Raiders were led in scoring by Cyrus Ellison Cyrus Ellison 6'4" | SF Hannah-Pamplico | 2022 State SC and improve to (9-1) overall and (7-0) in region play.  Russell Brunson Jr. Russell Brunson Jr. 6'1" | CG Calhoun County | 2022 State SC is back at Calhoun County HS (St Matthews) after starting the school year at Gray Collegiate. Brunson a left-handed scoring guard recently scored 42 points in win over Wagener-Salley HS.  Jalen Jefferson Jalen Jefferson 6'1" | PG North HS | 2023 State SC and Literyian Tyler Literyian Tyler 6'5" | SF North | 2021 State SC provide a solid 1-2 punch for the North HS Eagles.  Adonis Davis Adonis Davis 6'0" | CG Blackville-Hilda | 2021 State SC recently signed with South Carolina State University to play football next year. Davis has the Blackville-Hilda HS Hawks (3-1) on the season.  Zachary Davis Zachary Davis 6'7" | CG Denmark-Olar | 2022 State SC has been really stuffing the stat sheet this season for the Denmark-Olar HS Vikings.
