CIAC Preview – North Haven High School
Coach Oglesby enters his first season as Head Coach of North Haven High School. The former Hamden Hall standout and coach brings an array of experience to the program after having a successful playing career at the University of South Florida and Fairfield University. The practice was very detail orientated and provided many teaching moments for the team. North Haven will rely on a core group to create the foundation for the future.
Max Cargan, 6’2″ W, 2024 – Max is a strong athletic wing with an excellent skill set. He has tremendous upside because of his ability to shoot from the outside or mix it up down low. Max is a good athlete who possesses the ability to push the ball after a rebound.
Adam Pandolfi, 6’0″ W, 2024 – After a successful middle school career, Adam will immediately be a pivotal piece on the varsity team. He has very good perimeter instincts. Adam is a scoring threat off the bounce or from the catch which will allow him to see playing time immediately.
Ty Rooney, 5’11” W, 2022 – Ty is a very good perimeter shooter who will help the offense stretch the floor. He consistently knocked down shots throughout the practice from both the catch and off the dribble.
Chris Hager, 6’0″ PG, 2022 – Chris is a returning starter who will be stepping up his role this season. He does a solid job of creating offense and will serve as the second primary scorer this season.
Dante Velez, 5’11” W, 2023 – Dante is a very good shooter with range. In addition, he’s a very good ball-handler with good ball instincts and overall feel.
