Everybody always thinks of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx when you talk about the CHSAA.  But the Staten Island schools have tremendous talent and successful programs as well. This is our first of 2 installments on this borough. Check out our previous 2023 reports to see some more of the players  from Staten Island.

Kendall Arcuri.          6”3.          2022.          St. Joseph by the Sea

Crafty lefty. Finishes at the rim through contact. Also shoots well from the perimeter. Uses his length to defend. Has that intangible knack to find the basketball.  Working on scoring using his off-hand and a quicker first step.

Uriah Logan.              5”11.         2021.              St. Peters

Tremendous defender on the ball.  Great court vision. Makes the right decision with the ball. Very athletic. Extremely quick first step. Working on becoming more consistent with his jumper

Danny Marinaccio.     5”11.        2022.           St. Joseph by the Sea

Can shoot the three-ball. Excellent mid-range game. Great elevation on his jump shot. Coach likes the ball
