The Central League’s recent high school boys’ basketball schedule was interrupted by Covid-19 / contact tracing pauses for the Conestoga and Upper Darby hoops programs. Still the rest of the league managed to play numerous games and those runs produced several fantastic performances from Central League prospects. Additionally three Central League players recently reached the career 1,000 point barrier.

Prep Hoops is here to highlight those outstanding individual performances in southeastern Pennsylvania’s Central League (District 1).

Sam Davison – 5’10’’ / Senior / Lower Merion / Shooting Guard: After missing his junior season in order to rehab a torn ACL, Davison has come back and been a key role player and defensive standout for the Aces. He proved by scoring 18 points in a win over Harriton (including ¾ court shot to beat the halftime buzzer) that he can also get buckets when the team needs him to score.

Justin Langan 6’2’’/ Senior / Garnet Valley / Small Forward: Langan’s hot shooting continues as he drained 4 threes
