Standout Performances
Jarmaine Mason Jarmaine Mason 5'11" | PG Pflugerville Weiss | 2022 State TX | SG | Weiss (2022)
One of the top shooters in the ATX, Mason’s game has steadily improved during his junior season and he came up clutch in Weiss’ win over Lockhart. Mason notched 22 points in the victory and was a key playmaker in the third quarter where he hit three straight three-pointers to give Weiss a sizable lead and much-needed momentum. The junior shooting guard finished the game nailing 5-of-8 from beyond-the-arc.
Cameron Jackson Cameron Jackson 6'9" | C Pflugerville Weiss | 2024 State TX | C | Weiss (2024)
Jackson was put to the test in the first round of the playoffs going up against a trio of tall front-court players from Lockhart, but he more than held his own and dominated at times while putting up 18 points and 14 rebounds in the victory. The 6’8″ freshman was a beast on the block gobbling up boards and showed a soft touch around the basket.
Rob Wade Rob Wade 6'5" | SF McCallum | 2021 State TX | SF | McCallum (2021)
Wade, a UT-Dallas commit, had a strong performance in McCallum’s win over Manor where he posted a stat line of 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The senior captain has been consistent game in-and-out this season and he carried over his impressive play into the playoffs where one of his top plays of the game came in a two-handed dunk on a fast break.
Jaelyn Brooks Jaelyn Brooks 6'4" | SG Round Rock | 2022 State TX | SG | Round Rock (2022)
Round Rock manhandled Del Valle in their first-round matchup and Brooks was a key player in the win as he dropped 20 points on the Cardinals. On a veteran-led roster with a good group of seniors, Brooks, a junior shooting guard, brings a lot to the table as an offensive playmaker where he can score the rock in a variety of ways, and he did just that in the win over Del Valle.
Larson Featherstone | PF | Round Rock (2021)
Another Dragon player with a huge game was Featherstone, who also dropped 20 points in the Round Rock victory. A 6’6″ hybrid forward who can bang down low or step out and hit a three, Featherstone is one of a handful of senior leaders on the team and has been a key contributor to Round Rock’s best season in over 50 years.
Jack Francis | SG | Anderson (2022)
Anderson defeated Pflugerville comfortably thanks to impressive play from Francis who had 17 points and 9 rebounds in the win. The 6’2″ junior guard supports a strong frame, has a filthy crossover, and can shoot lights out from three-point range. A high IQ playmaker, Francis was making an impact all over the court and was particularly active bringing down defensive rebounds.
Nick Harris | SF | Anderson (2021)
Harris brought the juice and offensive spark for Anderson nailing 20 points, with 8 points coming in the fourth quarter, in the Trojans victory. Harris scored all over the half-court, from driving and finishing at the basket to hitting corner threes. He was also clutch at the free-throw line, hitting seven from the charity stripe, while the rest of the team struggled to knock down free throw opportunities.
Keshawn Williams Keshawn Williams 6'2" | SG Pflugerville Hendrickson | 2021 State TX | SG | Hendrickson (2021)
Hendrickson jumped out to a substantial lead in the first half over Crockett thanks to Williams’ shooting and playmaking in the first half. The senior sharpshooting guard lit it up from beyond-the-arc hitting five three-pointers in the half to go along with his 29 points for the Hawks. Williams has taken a massive leap in his play during his senior season, and his deep-range shooting ability has provided a considerable boost to Hendrickson’s success this season.
Jesse Peart | PG | Boerne-Champion (2022)
Boerne-Champion is on a historical run this season posting a 26-1 record (16-0 in district), and Peart has been at the heart of the Chargers’ success. In a tough first-round matchup versus Leander, Peart dropped 19 points which led to Boerne-Champion’s victory while also extending their win streak to 25 games. Peart had a strong second-half performance with several knock down shots from deep range.
