Bethany defeated Bridge Creek 46-37.
The Broncho’s 6-foot-8 junior, Michael Wooldridge, was clearly the best and most physically dominant player on the floor, but it was his supporting cast that did the dirty work. They dismissed Bridge Creek’s multiple attempts at a comeback.
Bethany’s Wooldridge finished the game with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Jackson Clark was the other Broncho to score in double-figures with 10.
This Broncho team is good, and where they lack top-end talent (outside of Wooldridge), they have team chemistry, which could get them over the hump when it comes to advancing to the Area tournament.
