Sandpoint vs. Post Falls: Way up north, Sandpoint faced off against Post Falls in a non-conference game. Unfortunately, Sandpoint’s senior night was not worthy of celebrating as they struggled in the second half after leading Post Falls at halftime. Turnovers were a major issue for the Sandpoint Bulldogs as Post Falls used full-court pressure to create lots of steals and opportunities to turn turnovers into buckets. Post Falls will look to use this victory as a way to build momentum as they head into their district tournament and look to make a run beyond that. Valley vs. Declo: Heading to southern Idaho, Declo and Valley competed in a conference matchup. Valley was able to secure a victory on the road thanks to taking care of the ball and using a balanced attack to overcome Declo’s attempt to win. Valley had a big second half and were able to open up their lead with big surges after halftime. Declo could not keep up and struggled to produce any type of run in the second half. Valley was led by 14 points from Omar Campos and 12 points from Rawlin Godfrey. Declo was led by 15 points from Sam Nebeker.
