The Georgetown University recruit also made history by becoming the first boys player from Southwest Missouri to be selected as a McDonald’s All-American. Former Branson High star Priscilla Williams was the first girl from SWMO to become a McDonald’s All-American last year.
The 6’5 Mohammed has been a star since moving to Springfield from Washington D.C. before his sophomore year. In less than three seasons, Mohammed has already become the all time leading scorer in the city of Springfield. Not only does he give you 30 points and 15-20 rebounds on a nightly basis, but he is a relentless worker who plays the team game and loves to lead.
In addition to being a dominant player during the high school season, Mohammed was also a tremendous player on the summer grassroots circuit for Boo Williams, out of Hampton, VA.
As a sophomore playing up at the 17U level, Mohammed averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds to help lead Boo Williams to a Final Four berth at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam two years ago.
