Meridian, Joe Mpoyo Joe Mpoyo 6'4" | SG Meridian | 2021 State ID and Brody Rowbury Brody Rowbury 6'11" | C Meridian | 2021 State ID : Meridian has been off to an excellent start this season and they are led by the dynamic duo of Joe Mpoyo Joe Mpoyo 6'4" | SG Meridian | 2021 State ID and Brody Rowbury Brody Rowbury 6'11" | C Meridian | 2021 State ID . Joe can do a little bit of everything and has been off to a really hot start this season. He is a knockdown shooter who can also get to the rim at will. He has a great feeling for the game and has been on a scoring fest as of late. Brody Rowbury Brody Rowbury 6'11" | C Meridian | 2021 State ID is one of the most interesting players in the 5A SIC currently. As a true 6’10″ center, Rowbury is a matchup nightmare for most teams. He has a soft touch from outside and isn’t afraid to go inside as well and finish through contact at the rim. If he can learn to stay out of foul trouble, Brody could be a real nightmare at the next level.
Thunder Ridge, Lloyer Driggs: Driggs is one of the best guards in the state at any rate and he continues to prove his ability to score each and every league game. Already this season, Driggs has multiple 30-point games under his belt along with a couple of buzzer-beating game winners and he has shown no signs of slowing down. Thunder Ridge has made a rise toward being one of the best teams in the state this season after a couple of down years. Lloyer is the heart and soul of this team and he will continue to be a leader throughout the rest of the season. Watch for Lloyer’s name to keep popping up all around the state in the next weeks leading up to the state tournament.
