Jacob Hargens, Sioux Central
The 6-2 guard led the Rebels in scoring this year, and kept them in the game against Spirit Lake, going for 21 points and 13 rebounds. He’s a capable 3-point shooter but is at his best when he’s playing downhill and getting to the bucket.
Carter Steinlage, New Hampton
A 6-3 forward, Steinlage put up 15 points with 5 rebounds on 7-10 shooting in the Chickasaws’ loss to Denver. He took advantage of Drake Wemark Drake Wemark 6'3" | SF New Hampton | 2022 State IA being injured for a good chunk of the year, emerging as a solid scoring threat for New Hampton, and will pair well with Wemark next year to give them a solid one-two punch in the paint.

His breakout game came in the regular-season against Waukon, when he scored 30, and he followed that up in this one, also against Waukon, by going for 27 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks in the Blazers win. A versatile scorer who can fill it up from all three levels, he showcased his silky stroke from deep, going 4-6 from behind the arc.
Kyle Sternberg, AHSTW
A 30-12 third-quarter by Treynor doomed AHSTW, but the Vikings have a bright future, starting five underclassmen, including Sternberg. He had a rough shooting night (3-11), but he showed his ability to stuff the stat sheet in the loss, finishing with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks.
