Brooks’ game has expanded a lot since the summer and it only continues to grow. He’s still raw and hasn’t even scratched the surface of his talents yet, very bright future for this young prospect.

This Frisco Heritage guard is a bucket getter that gets the job done by using his patience, ball skills, and footwork. He has a thing for using hop steps and pro hops to get into or through the lane where he also has a phenomenal touch on his shots close to the basket. As a shooter he displays terrific shooting mechanics, Myers gets the ball out of his hands in a single fluid motion, has a great-looking shot release, good consistency, and shoots every shot the same way no matter the situation. In the mid-range, Puryear is an assassin with a shot release that’s tough to block cleanly when he elevates and lets it fly from above his head. Chance can and will light it up from just about every spot and from every angle inside the arc. The young guard can also play above the rim in open space and throw down a one-handed or two-handed slam with no problem.

Whenever you watch Hollis play you’ll notice that he’s a tough, hard-nosed, lockdown defender with an outstanding defensive presence that will always be felt. He excels at cutting off other ball-handlers pathways with his excellent foot speed and he can also get a hand on the ball with his cat-like reflexes. Good point guard skills and instincts, Hollis can play in any setting, he controls the pace of play, shows dime dropper potential with the way he sets guys up, and he looks to keep his teammates involved, if you run with Jadyn on a fast break he will make sure to get you the ball. This kid is super quick in the open floor and handles the ball like it’s on a string. Remember the name, because it will be buzzing through the metroplex in no time.
