For all the talent that Webb features in the wake of J.J. Platt and Keon JohnsonKeonJohnson6'5" | SGThe Webb School | 2020State#21NationTN they just could not slow the hosting, soaring Cougars of Goodpasture. Goodpasture handily dispatched of Webb, advancing to the Regional Finals.

Evan EursherEvanEursher6'2" | PGLighthouse Christian | 2022StateTN lived at the free throw line.  Even the college-level talent Goodpasture ran out could not keep EE from getting into dangerous spots, thus necessitating fouls. 

On the other half, P.J. Smith continued to be the "line leader" by constantly sidling up to the very same stripe.  P.J. makes problems for guards.  Often, Smith was guarded by Eursher.  Unlike Eursher, Smith did not need to have a 25 or 30 point game for his team to win.

Gaga for Shegog

Every once in awhile a player sacks the game in the face, and humiliates everybody else in the gym with his game.  Late in the third quarter, Xavier ShegogXavierShegog6'4" | SFGoodpasture | 2024TN followed a layup miss with a rim-rocking two-handed boom.  The fans on hand loved it as did he.  On the very next defensive play, Shawn McKenzie attempted a corner three-pointer in modest transition.  Shegog, coming from under the basket, screamed
