Evaluating talent regardless of points scored or even the level they are doing it at is often times subjective. These are a few young prospects that are a must see, even if you have to catch them playing at the JV level.

When it comes to scoring and shooting the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. With Dutch getting more and more varsity time it is easy to see why. The kid can play. Not only is he in-line to be among the best shooters in the state he has great size already for the next level. Dutch moves well without the basketball and he can out the ball on the floor and shoot the three as well. When you watch him play he can find his spots in motion waiting for a kick out and he has a quick release. The future is bright for Olympus and Dutch.

Talk about making a jump from freshman year to his sophomore year. James now finds himself on the starting lineup on the top team in all of 5A. He is putting up 12 PPG and seems to have a lot of confidence in himself and from his teammates and coach. He takes what you give him and he lets the game come to him. Excellent watch as he is really increasing his IQ with the quality of players he is surrounded by.

Bron has not only turned heads because of his increased production but he has also turned heads because he towers at 6’10 now. Bron is not just a behind the basket prospect he has a lot of versatility to his game. He is putting up 10 PPG and will soon be a double-double machine. He will be on the eyes of every Division 1 coach shortly when club season resumes.
6’3 G Mason Bendinger
Woods Cross High School
Class of 2023
Mason really made a name for himself playing in showcases and different events before the season started. He has taken that and turned it into 12 PPG and 4 RPG. He can really score, but the most impressive aspect of his game is that he can create for himself and others. Great prospect moving forward.

Lyman is posting great numbers that somehow get overlooked because he plays down south and in 4A. Lyman is nearly posting a double-double a game averaging 20 PPG. Lyman is a D1 prospect that has suitors. Look for him to remain consistent through the season. He has developed an elite 15-foot jumper.
