High Point Christian Junior Thomas McIntosh is a hard nosed player that works hard on every possession. He battles inside the paint for interior buckets and rebounds while also being able to step out to the perimeter and knock down some shots.
Westover HS Senior Eli Hayes could be a nice pickup for a JUCO program that doesn’t mind taking some time to develop a player. A legit 6’8 with long arms that can run the floor, rebound and black shots, Hayes has some raw talent that could blossom into something special with a few JC years.
Lake Norman Christian Senior AJ Allenspach AJ Allenspach 6'8" | C Lake Norman Christian | 2021 State NC had the play of the day with a baseline poster dunk in the first half. He’s strong and knows how to use his height and strength to his advantage to make plays inside the paint at a solid rate.
Jack Britt Junior Demetri Patterson is a solid looking prospect that can play inside the paint or step outside and knock down shots. A legit 6’6 that’s coachable and still only scratching the surface of what he can be, he is one to keep a close eye on.
Southview HS Junior Jarod Brown Jarod Brown 6'4" | SF South View | 2022 State NC is another player that has taken the next step in his progression this year which has helped Southview obtain a record of 4-1 at this point. Brown is a worker on both ends of the floor and his stat line proved it, he went for 16 Points, 11 Rebounds and 7 blocks in a win over Grays Creek HS.
Lumberton HS Senior Matt Locklear earned the nicknamed ’’ Mr. Double/Double’’ during the 9 Dime Fall League and over the last few games this season he has shown why. On Friday night he finished with 12 Points & 13 Rebounds against 71st and followed that game up with a 22 Point/11 Rebound performance on Saturday against Hoke County. He’s not the tallest player but outworks his competition to get good positioning in the paint to pull down boards at a high rate.
