Stallman has a nose for the ball, pulling down 10 rebounds to go with his 16 points. The 6-4 senior rebounds the ball really well on both ends of the floor, making good contact on his boxouts, and he’s a solid finisher around the rim. He’s undersized, but he’s going to outwork most on the glass.
Shane Neighbor Shane Neighbor 6'2" | PF Alburnett | 2021 State IA (Alburnett, 2021)
Like Stallman, Neighbor is undersized at just 6-2, but he’s relentless on the backboards. He pulled down 11 rebounds (7 offensive) to go with his 13 points for the Pirates in their loss to Springville. He’s active on both ends of the floor, has good hands, and is going to outwork everyone.
Braden Hemann (Waukon, 2022)
The 6-4 junior had a strong game for the Indians, finishing with 24 points and 6 rebounds. He showed the ability to score both inside and out, opening the game with a catch-and-shoot 3, showing a quick, smooth release. On the very next possession, he got a post touch on the left block and scored on a baby hook coming across the lane, showing good touch. He’s got good hands, moves well and can stretch the defense. He’ll be a name for Division III schools to monitor.
Jack Gehling Jack Gehling 6'4" | PF Beckman Catholic | 2021 State IA (Beckman Catholic, 2021)
The 6-5 senior is the next in a line of Gehlings to come through Beckman. He can play a little inside and out and he has really good footwork in the paint. He finishes with either hand around the rim and rebounds the ball at a high level. He finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Blazers.
