The high school hoops season continues on in the state of North Carolina. Here’s a look at some of the unsigned seniors on the rise in the state.

Carlos RavenCarlosRaven5'11" | PGWayne Country Day | 2021StateNC has been on a tear in 2020-21 at Wayne Country Day School. He’s put up 15.5 ppg, 5.0 apg, 4.5 rpg and 2.9 spg as the Chargers are off to a 12-1 start on the season and 4-0 in conference action. Look for him to make some noise on the wing in NCISAA action. He’s recently committed to Patrick Henry Community College.

LJ JohnsonLJJohnson6'3" | CGUnited Faith Christian | 2021StateNC has been a key scorer and distributor in the United Faith Christian Academy rotation this season. He’s producing 11.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 3.1 apg through their first nine games as they boast a 7-2 record on the year. He’s a long, wiry prospect that get to the paint and finish and shoot the ball on the perimeter with volume. He’s a prospect due for some attention soon given what he can do on the floor.

He’s putting up 6.9 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 1.8 bpg for the Falcons in 2020-21, acting as a strong anchor for the defense in the process. He gets to the free throw line and draws fouls as well while battling on the boards. He’s a prospect with size to keep eyes on. Ray BellamyRayBellamy6'5" | CGMoravian Prep | 2021StateNC | 6’5 Wing/Guard | Moravian Prep Bellamy is an explosive wing that gets after it on both ends and attacks the paint with his athleticism. He’s having a strong season at Moravian Prep running the break and making plays around the rim. He holds offers from Tusculum, Clayton State and Young Harris College.  DreShaun BrownDreShaunBrown6'0" | CGPiedmont Classical | 2021StateNC | 6’1 Guard | Piedmont Classical Brown is an emerging guard in the backcourt for the Piedmont Classical Bobcats. He makes plays and gets his shooters the ball when needed to keep his team in winning positions. They’re coming off a tough loss to Greensboro Day on Thursday look for them to bounce back against Winston-Salem Christian on Tuesday. Julian WilliamsJulianWilliams6'7" | PFNorthwood Temple | 2021StateNC | 6’7 Forward | Northwood Temple Julian WilliamsJulianWilliams6'7" | PFNorthwood Temple | 2021StateNC has been a force for the Northwood Temple Eagles on the interior this season since returning from injury. He’s putting up 16.5 ppg, 8.1 rpg and 1.0 bpg in his return to the hardwood in the season. He put up a strong 26 points and 11 rebounds against Word of God back on Dec. 22 and has seven double-doubles so far through the first 18 games of the season. He’s a frontcourt presence that plays with tremendous effort on both ends. College coaches in need of forwards, look no further.
