D.J. Gillespie 6’2″ Winfield: A 2022 point guard who earned All-Tournament Team honors at Clopton after leading the Warriors to a berth in the championship game. He is a very poised ball handler with good court vision as he dropped several nice dimes during the tournament. He can get downhill to the basket going left or right and stick the open jumper. He stays under control.
Joshua Talton Joshua Talton 6'2" | SG Monroe City | 2022 State MO 6’1″ Monroe City: The 2022 guard was the Most Valuable Player of the Clopton Tournament after leading the Panthers to the championship. He scored a total of 46 points in the semifinals and finals as he dominated the action in a variety of ways. He uses his strength to attack the basket and finish in traffic and he has 3-point range.
Lee Verslues 5’11″ Fatima: The 2022 point guard was the Most Valuable Player of the Owensville Tournament after scoring a combined 48 points in the semifinals and championship games. He is an excellent floor leader who makes his teammates better in addition to his ability to score and facilitate.
Isaac Danielson 6’1″ Kirksville: The talented 2023 point guard led the Bulldogs to the championship of the Highland Tournament, having scored a total of 39 points in the semifinal and championship games. He is a very good 3-point shooter with the creative handles to get his own shot.
Drew Mallett, Highland: The 2022 guard led Highland to its first berth in the championship game of its own tournament in several years. He is a dangerous offense player from the mid-range area on in as he can get to the basket, hit the jumper and put pressure on the defense. He also displayed the ability to raise his level of play in clutch situations.
Nate Brandt Nate Brandt 6'3" | SG Fatima | 2023 State MO 6’3″ Fatima: The 2023 guard is one of the more impressive 3-point shooters in Mid-Missouri. If you’re on defense, you better locate him and locate him quick because he’ll let it fly from the volleyball line, the logo and with a quick release.
Jack Prewett 6’0″ NE Cairo: A physically stout 2022 point guard who uses his strength to get where he wants to go on the court. He can play with pace and overall floor game is solid with his rebounding and excellent anticipation on defense, which puts him in position to create turnovers. Helped the Bearcats to the championship of the Salisbury Tournament.
Jaedyn Robertson 6’3″ Monroe City: This 2022 wing has good height and length and a variety of ways to get buckets. You may not be paying as much attention to him, but you look up and he’s got 15 points after hitting a couple of 3-pointers, getting a transition basket or two plus some offensive put-backs.
