I took in parts of the three-day I Have A Dream Martin Luther King Jr. Challenge at Somerset Academy. The event is in its 3rd year and features some of the top teams in the South Florida area. Coordinator Marcus McGee does a tremendous job organizing the showcase, especially this year due to Covid-19.

Let’s look into my observations...

2021 Jonathan RenoisJonathanRenois6'0" | CGSomerset | 2021StateFL scored 34 points in defeat against Palmetto on Monday night. The 6-foot combo guard has exceptional stop-n-go acceleration as he drives to the basket. Moreover, Renois got to his spot and finished with multiple finger rolls off glass. He also hit from mid-range and knocked down multiple 3-pointers. Renois easily had the highest grade of any player for the Panthers in the final game of the challenge. He is an underrated talent that gets the most out of his frame.

2022 Warner DavisWarnerDavis6'1" | CGMiami Palmetto | 2022StateFL was electric shooting the ball for the Panthers, especially in the first half. The 6-foot-1 guard scored 23 points and knocked down six 3-pointers. While Davis was unconscious shooting the basketball from deep, he did maneuver his way
