Canon Karn, 6’1 Forward, 2021, Holton: Karn was very efficient and provided the extra spark to go along side Purcell in the big win for Holton over Tonganoxie. Karn shot 50% from the field and finished with 9 points and grabbed 5 rebounds including 2 big offensive rebounds.
Zane Novotney, Poing Guard/Shooting Guard, 2021, Tonganoxie: The back up guard came in to the ball game and put up a valiant effort in the tough loss. He provided a scoring spark for his team in a low scoring affair. Novotney hit 3 3’s in the game to finish with 13 points and he dished out 2 assists, grabbed 2 rebounds, and logged 2 steals.
Tanner Hecht Tanner Hecht 6'5" | CG Wamego | 2021 State KS , 6’5 Shooting Guard, 2021, Wamego: The Wamego standout put up another stat sheet filler performance in Wamego’s tough loss to Bonner Springs. Hecht scored a game high 30 points, hit 5 threes, grabbed 9 rebounds, and recorded 4 blocks in the contest.
Josh Broxterman Josh Broxterman 6'2" | PF Jefferson West | 2021 State KS , 6’4 Wing, 2021, Jefferson West: Broxterman as well as his running mate Garrett Athon Garrett Athon 6'4" | C Jefferson West | 2021 State KS carried the load for the Tigers in their opening round loss to Metro Academy.
