Appetizer.  The first game of the weekend is a 6pm tap between Brooklyn Center and Saint Anthony Village.  Brooklyn Center sophomore Quyavant Douglas Quyavant Douglas 6'0" | PG Brooklyn Center | 2023 State MN is off to a great start this season averaging 26.3 points a game.  The Centaurs schedule has been brutal early but Douglas 35 against Columbia Heights and 29 versus Richfield.  Saint Anthony has also had some tough nights having faced DeLaSalle and Richfield early this year.  They are looking for their second win while BC wants their first. Junior Gani Stevens is coming off a nice game versus Richfield.

Specials. Seeing Albert Lea at Owatonna reminds me of a player that’s had a monster start to the season, and that’s Owatonna junior Brayden Williams Brayden Williams 6'2" | PG Owatonna | 2022 State MN .  Brayden is scoring nearly 24 points a game including 29 in the recent win over Mayo and 25 points in a tough loss to a good Mankato West team.  Brayden has been on fire hitting 20 of 33 threes so far this year (60 percent)
