Cael Lundin Cael Lundin 6'3" | SG Tea Area | 2022 State SD of Tea Area (6’2 Guard, Jr). Tea Area faced the toughest schedule in the state to being their year. They played four of the top five teams in Class A, and lost to all four. Since that point they’ve won four straight games most recently beating Canton. Leading the way with an explosive 17 point stretch on his own, was Cael Lundin Cael Lundin 6'3" | SG Tea Area | 2022 State SD . The end result was a 30 point night with four boards and four assists.
Ethan Russell Ethan Russell 6'6" | SF Aberdeen Christian | 2023 State SD of Aberdeen Christian (6’5 Forward, Soph). The Knights are currently on a six game winning streak including an important pair of wins this weekend. They knocked off Potter County in a big victory and less than 24 hours later defeated Leola/Frederick Area earning a spot in our Class B top ten at 10th in the state. Ethan Russell Ethan Russell 6'6" | SF Aberdeen Christian | 2023 State SD played a huge part in this with a combined 42 points and 15 rebounds in the victories. Russell scored 20 and 22 respectively over the weekend.
Joe Sayler Joe Sayler 6'4" | SG White River | 2023 State #295 Nation SD of White River (6’3 SG, Soph). The South Dakota State commit led his team to the Jones County Invitational Tournament winning three games in three days. Sayler had an explosive 30 point performance in the semis and then put in 20 in the title game. White River is now 7-3 after the impressive weekend. Sayler was named tournament MVP.

Xavier Van Beek Xavier Van Beek 6'0" | SG Sf Christian | 2021 State SD of Sioux Falls Christian (6’0 Guard, Sr). Van Beek led the Chargers over an undefeated Mitchell team by hitting six threes and scoring 28 points! The Chargers were able to get past the Mitchell massive size with Van Beek’s explosive night starting with five first half threes for a 16 point first half lead. Earlier in the week the Dordt commit led his team to a win over Sioux Falls and then he doubled his output in a showing heard around the state.
Bryce Westby of Philip (6’3 Forward, Fr). A freshman leading a varsity team to a victory, always a headline! The Scotties earned a 64-59 win in overtime and with Bryce grabbed 16 boards his ability to control the defensive glass was massive for the win. Bryce also scored 22 points helping his team get a second win.
