With the smaller number of teams in Class A compared to B we are only going to rank 1-5 in our Power Rankings from here on out.
Here are the ND Class A Power Rankings, a list of #1 to 10.
1. Bismarck High – 6-1. The Demons had a momentous week taking down Century and Minot. These two victories and their six-game win-streak are enough to catapult them to the top of the poll. This coming week they play Dickinson and Turtle Mountain. Expect the talented Gunner Swanson Gunner Swanson 6'5" | SF Bismarck | 2021 State ND , Treysen Eaglestaff Treysen Eaglestaff 6'5" | SF Bismark | 2022 State ND , Max Tschosik Max Tschosik 5'9" | PG Bismarck | 2021 State ND to stay hot and win both games this week.
2. West Fargo – 5-0. The packers had double-digit wins in each of their games this week against South and Shanley. Coming up they play at Red River Tuesday and at home Thursday against Moorhead (MN). The new #1 team is led by Brett Limke Brett Limke 6'1" | PG West Fargo | 2022 State ND , Carson Hegerle Carson Hegerle 6'3" | SG West Fargo | 2022 State ND , and Carter Birrenkott Carter Birrenkott 6'5" | PF West Fargo | 2021 State ND .
3. West Fargo Sheyenne – 7-1. The Mustangs had three games this week and they won big in all three. This coming week they play Grand Forks Central and Valley City. Look for Jacksen Moni Jacksen Moni 6'9" | PF West Fargo Sheyenne | 2021 State ND , Jah’Heem Leake Jah’Heem Leake 6'8" | C West Fargo Sheyenne | 2021 State ND , and the rest of the Mustangs to have a nine-game win streak by the end of the week.
4. Minot – 6-1. They had a nice 2-point win over Mandan and a hard-fought 8-point loss to Bismarck this week. Up next they play Turtle Mountain and Williston. Expect the skilled Deonte Martinez Deonte Martinez 5'10" | PG Minot | 2021 State ND , Eric Wentz Eric Wentz 6'2" | SG Minot | 2022 State ND , Darik Dissette Darik Dissette 6'4" | SG Minot | 2023 State #300 Nation ND , and the Magi to end the week with an 8-1 record.
5. Mandan – 6-2. The Braves lost to Minot by 3 but bounced back with wins against Legacy and Williston this week. They have a tough one Tuesday against Jamestown and they finish the week Friday at home against Watford City. The Braves are a great team offensively that is led by Jacob Pierce, Jayce Lowman Jayce Lowman 6'3" | SG Mandan | 2021 State ND , and Aaron Grubb Aaron Grubb 6'3" | PF Mandan | 2022 State ND .
