Jessye Lewis Jr Jessye Lewis Jr 6'1" | PG Hiawatha Collegiate | 2023 State MN of Hiawatha Collegiate (6’1 PG 2023). Expectations are high for Lewis this winter and so far he’s living up to them, especially last Friday night. Lewis scored 27 points hitting five threes plus the playmaker had nine assists in an 84-63 win over Avail Academy. Throw in six rebounds and four steals and you have a great game. Hiawatha Collegiate is 3-0.
Jackson Loge Jackson Loge 6'7" | C Morris Area | 2022 State MN of Morris Area (6’8 PF 2022). In one of the more important games of the weekend Morris Area crushed Minnewaska Area 58-28. What the Lakes couldn’t deal with was Jackson Loge Jackson Loge 6'7" | C Morris Area | 2022 State MN in the paint. The D1 offered big put together a 32 point, 13 rebound, seven block performance making 13 of 17 attempts. It was the type of individual domination against a good team you rarely see.
Trey Longstreet Trey Longstreet 6'6" | SF Delano | 2021 State MN of Delano (6’7 SF 2021). Longstreet passed the 1,000 point mark earlier in the week and then he basically ran past St. Thomas over the weekend giving his team a six point lead. Longstreet had 31 points on the TC Hoops Czar scoreboard shooting 10 of 22 from the floor and 9 of 12 from the foul line.
Joshua Ola-Joseph Joshua Ola-Joseph 6'6" | SF Osseo | 2022 State #166 Nation MN of Osseo (6’6 SF 2022). We detailed this extensively this morning but Ola-Joseph earned his spot on this list. Josh put up 30 points on 10 of 14 shooting including five threes giving his team an early season first signature victory. It was a win that put Osseo in the top ten and Ola-Joseph definitely pushed his squad to the victory.
Aiden Wichmann Aiden Wichmann 6'2" | PG RTR | 2023 State MN of RTR (6’1 PG 2023). Aiden led RTR in scoring last year as a frosh and he’s taken his game a step further with a strong start to his sophomore year. Aiden led RTR to a 77-72 win over MACCRAY with 26 points led by his six threes. It was a clutch performance and a good win.
