Northwood Temple 6’9 Forward Julian Williams Julian Williams 6'7" | PF Northwood Temple | 2021 State NC is a player that D2 programs should be offering. He’s made outstanding progression over the last few years and now his game seems to be fully rounding out. You won’t see him shy away from physical contact in the paint but he also can knock down the midrange jumper.
The Burlington School Guard Shane Peterson came up big for his team on Saturday in their matchup with GDS, showcasing his shooting ability that he’s known for. Peterson finished with a team high of 14 Points and we feel that he can transition well to a program on the next level due to the fact that he plays within the flow of the team offense and doesn’t try to force any plays.
Northwood Temple Guard Brady Rankin Brady Rankin 6'2" | CG Northwood Temple | 2021 State NC will be a nice pickup for a college program that is looking for a Guard that can make plays off the ball. Rankin was constantly moving without the ball, forcing his defenders to work and he was efficient with the touches he got throughout the night, scoring 17 Points against TCS.
Pinecrest HS Guard Bradlee Haskell Bradlee Haskell 6'2" | CG Pinecrest | 2021 State NC has been forced to watch other public school programs play while Pinecrest had to wait due to COVID protocol but they were able to get back on the court this week and matched up with Trask on Monday. Haskell was dominant in this matchup from start to finish, getting wherever he wanted on the court and finishing with a game high of 22 Points. Colleges at the D1 & D2 levels are showing interest in Haskell and rightfully so, he’s shown over the years that he can compete with players of all levels.
Northwood Temple Forward Yohann Axel has improved in a major way over the past few years. The hard work he has put in has led to solid play for his teams and he is a legit prospect from smaller colleges. He’s one of those players that doesn’t mind doing the dirty work to help his team win.
