Last week I went to the Southside of Atlanta to watch two Top 10 showdowns in Class 5A.

No. 3 Tri-Cities vs. No. 4 Woodward Academy
No. 7 Forest Park vs. No. 8 Jonesboro

Here’s who stood out from a loaded double-header.

The freshman likes to push the pace and get into the lane. He made good reads off the dribble and found open teammates on the perimeter in Forest Park’s 64-55 win over Jonesboro. Redding impressed with his defensive intensity. He pushed up tight and made opposing guards uncomfortable. Redding is an electric athlete. He finished with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. He has game-changing ability.
