Hilliard Bradley remained unbeaten as the Jags defeated a short-handed Saint Ignatius squad in Hilliard on Saturday afternoon. Saint Ignatius was without Henry Raynor
HenryRaynor6'7" | PFSt. Ignatius | 2021StateOH and Braydn Sczepaniak and these losses really hurt the Wildcats offense in this one. It was already going to be a tall task to score against Bradley, but without these starters it looked impossible at times. Bradley was still giving up significant height across the board as the Wildcats still started CJ Yarian
CJYarian6'9" | CSt. Ignatius | 2022StateOH and Will YontekWillYontek6'6" | PFSt. Ignatius | 2021StateOH, who each stand significantly taller than anybody on Bradley’s roster. Here were the top performers from the game.
Keaton NorrisKeatonNorris5'10" | PGHilliard Bradley | 2021StateOH, 5’10 PG Hilliard Bradley 2021: Norris was incredible in the second half, making shots from all over the floor in a variety of ways. Norris was making mid-range pull ups, spot-up 3-pointers and running off screens to hit 3-pointers as well. Norris has added some burst as well since last season, making it easier for him to get to the basket and score. Norris will still be on the smaller side at the next level, but playing in a system like Hilliard Bradley has will help his transition on the defensive end

AJ MirgonAJMirgon5'11" | CGHilliard Bradley | 2021StateOH, 5’11 PG Hilliard Bradley 2021: Mirgon was excellent defensively in this one, making lots of plays off the ball. Mirgon has excellent instincts and can use his athleticism for a steal or a block. On the offensive end Mirgon has been fairly quiet in both games I’ve been to this season, but he hasn’t been forcing looks and is still shooting a high percentage. College programs looking for a tough kid who is able to play either guard position and defend from day one should give Mirgon a look.
Will YontekWillYontek6'6" | PFSt. Ignatius | 2021StateOH, 6’6 PF Saint Ignatius 2021: Yontek looked really solid in this one, giving the Wildcats some needed senior leadership without their star big. Yontek did a good job of scoring over his left shoulder when he was able to go up with the ball in the paint. On the glass, Yontek used his height advantage to grab a handfull of offensive rebounds as well. Division III programs should look for Yontek to add some depth to their front-court rotation.
Calvin Little, 6’1 SG Saint Ignatius 2024: Little looks the part athletically as a freshman playing varsity basketball. He made a couple nice defensive plays and is quick with the ball in his hands. Little doesn’t look to shoot very often from the outside but did make a mid-range shot after he was given space. Little is an intriguing freshman prospect alongside Carter Jackson, as the pair look to be the future back-court for the Wildcats.
