Scottie Ebube Scottie Ebube 6'7" | C Mundelein | 2021 State #247 Nation IL (Mundelein – 2021)
The Southern Illinois commit was outstanding in this contest. Physical five man that knows how to use his strength to his advantage. Scored in the post on seals, spins, and using brute force for and-1s. Also flashed with strong takes from the mid-post and showed adept passing out of the post including one dime where he found a cutter on the weakside out of a double team. Quality outlet passer as well. Excellent area rebounder and effective post defender blocking shots on the interior.
Conor Enright Conor Enright 6'1" | PG Mundelein | 2021 State IL (Mundelein – 2021)
Ebube’s high school teammate also had a nice outing for Limitless. Came off the bench and the Drake commit was on fire from three hitting on four of them in this contest. Crisp shooting stroke where he gets height off the floor. Got in the lane for a runner, made sound decisions as always passing, and is a scrappy defender.
Kimahri Wilson Kimahri Wilson 6'2" | PG North Chicago | 2021 State IL (Carmel – 2021)
Wilson had a bit of a quiet game, but did hit a three pulling up early on and got to the rim for an acrobatic layup. The consistency in his jumper is the key and he has shown strides over the last six months of improvement.
Will Grudzinski Will Grudzinski 6'6" | PF Barrington | 2022 State IL (Barrington – 2022)
Tough wing in the junior class that is a threat shooting it from deep off the catch with clean mechanics on his three point shot. Was fouled on an aggressive baseline take late in the game.
Dalen Davis Dalen Davis 6'0" | PG Whitney Young | 2023 State #167 Nation IL (Whitney Young – 2023)
Davis was the most impressive performer for Black Magic 21. The top 10 junior prospect was very aggressive in this contest. Burst with the ball in his hands getting to the rim consistently. Slick ball handler through traffic that it is hard to get away from. Knocked in one from mid-range. Also set others up including a nifty dime on shot fake pass.
AJ Casey AJ Casey 6'8" | PF Whitney Young | 2022 State #55 Nation IL (Whitney Young – 2022)
Casey had his moments throughout this game. Really liked seeing him come out aggressive being fouled on two early takes to the hoop off the bounce. Scored out of the mid-post on a jumper, had a right handed hook shot, and got to the line again with an explosive left handed take on the baseline in the later portion of the contest. Solid job rebounding. He forced quite a few jumpers that didn’t fall from distance.
Xavier Amos Xavier Amos 6'7" | PF Whitney Young | 2022 State #233 Nation IL (Whitney Young – 2022)
First time seeing Amos in a while. The junior power forward made an impact at times defensively using his length on the perimeter to block or contest jump shots. Offensively he was at his best using his quickness and energy getting on the offensive glass for second chance opportunities.
