NCAA rules say that coaches can start reaching out to recruits on June 15th of their sophomore season. With that tidbit, here are a few players we expect to see receiving offers very soon.
Sterling Knox
SterlingKnox6'4" | SFDurango | 2023StateNV 6’4 SF Durango (featured image) - A positionless player, that is going to become in high demand as he continues to play. Adding Knox to your roster helps your team in a plethora of ways. His shooting, ballhandling, and rebounding are impactful every time he takes the floor and he does all of this against quality competition as well. I think it’s just a matter of time before some school takes the early lead for his services.
Sebastian Mack
SebastianMack6'1" | CGDurango | 2023State#64NationNV 6’1 CG Durango - It’s a size and position issue with Mack, cause it’s certainly not his game. The 6-foot combo is a lethal shooter, evident by recently being named to my top 50 WC shooters list. He’s also a great team leader, that possesses the unique skill of backing up his words with action. IMO you could question his size or position if you want, but his shotmaking and finishing are elite and will translate well to the college level.

Angelo Kambala
AngeloKambala5'10" | CGCoronado | 2023StateNV 5’11 CG Coronado - Kambala is a talented two-way player, who has etched his way into the conversation of the top 3 and D players in the state. He has speed and shot-making ability. Most importantly he has the ability to defend his position at an elite level. I would jump on him now because if he adds a couple of inches in the next couple of years, he’s going to become a major recruit.
Keanan BeyKeananBey6'5" | SFBishop Gorman | 2023StateNV 6’5 SF Bishop Gorman - Like many players at BG Bey is going to have to bide his time, however, that time is becoming shorter and shorter. A physical specimen, Bey looks like he could be contributing on a D1 roster right now. The long athletic wing has a good offensive skill set and the ability to defend multiple positions. If I’m buying stock, I’m certainly going to grab a piece of Bey.
Jaquavis WillifordJaquavisWilliford6'4" | SGWestern | 2023StateNV 6’4 SG Western - Williford is the mystery man in the class. He contributed to 3A Western as a freshman but hasn’t really played since lockdown started. He has the physical tools, a long rangy wing, who is an early candidate for my wired to score team next year. The lefty is a 3 point shooter that also can get out in transition and score. Throwing an offer to him now will give some program a leg up on a big-time scorer.
