Jake Fritz, junior, Wamego (pictured):
Tanner Hecht Tanner Hecht 6'5" | CG Wamego | 2021 State KS draws a ton of attention at the offensive end, which frees up the 6-foot-1 Fritz to find open shots on the perimeter. Fritz is averaging 6.5 points per game for the Red Raiders, while also working on the boards – he pulls down 3.5 rebounds per game.
Chase Parker, senior, Concordia:
Concordia came back loaded this year. They didn’t win a lot of games last season, but they were pretty good by the end of the year. With so many talented and versatile athletes, a big man in the middle is the perfect complement. The 6-foot-6 Parker has really stepped up his game, including 10 points against Smoky Valley and 14 against Marysville.
Jackson Rader, senior, Marysville:
Entirely unlike Concordia, Marysville was very good last year, but lost a ton to graduation from that team. Rader is stepping up to help lead the Bulldogs. His perimeter shot is providing a real threat. He scored 14 against Valley Heights.
Burk Springer, junior, Wamego:
The 5-foot-8 Springer is making things run for the hot Red Raiders, who have won four straight. Springer gets the ball to scorers Hecht and Fritz. He leads the team with 4.3 assists per outing. He can get it done at both ends, scoring 9 points per game and creating 2.3 steals per game at the other end.
Josh Stuber, senior, Abilene:

But don’t overlook the contribution of the athletic 6-foot-3 Stuber. He crashes the boards, plays all over the court, and tosses in key baskets, including the 14 he posted against Southeast of Saline.
