Here are some of the top performances around northeast Kansas from Jan. 22 (in alphabetical order):

Gunnar Ball, sophomore, Perry-Lecompton:

Ball seems to have significant scoring totals every other game. Friday in a tough 71-65 win over Pleasant Ridge, the 6-foot-1 sophomore produced 18 to aid his veteran teammates. Ball has games of 17, 15 and 14 already this season.

Decker entered Friday with three games with 20 or more points, including a high of 33 against the NEK Saints. The 6-foot veteran continued his high-scoring ways Friday with 21 in a big win over Chapman. Decker hit five 3-pointers.

Joel Deters, junior, Mission Valley:

2A’s #2 team Lyndon went down Friday night at the hands of Mission Valley. Leading the way for the Vikings was 5-foot-10 guard Deters, who scored 15 in the upset. Deters recently had a season high 16 against Doniphan West.

Jim Dorsey, junior, Wellsville:

The 6-foot-5 junior has really stepped into a leading role for the Eagles this season. In Friday’s 75-53 win over Seabury, Dorsey hit five 3-pointers and produced 24 total points. With his height and effective stroke, Dorsey is establishing himself as a special
