Mr. Basketball Candidate: Foster Wonders

<p>The Mr. Basketball award is probably the most prestigious distinction in Michigan high school basketball. Since 1981, 18 of the winners of this award have gone on to be drafted in the NBA. It has been won by legends such as Chris Webber, Terry Mills, Cassius Winston, Glen Rice, and Sam Vincent. Last year, Benton Harbor's Scooby Johnson claimed the honor. In a condensed season, the Mr. Basketball award may be even tougher than normal to determine. The small forward from Iron Mountain is ready to leave his mark on basketball in the state. No matter where you put him, it's impossible to miss his type of talent. But the fact is, he can bang in the paint and pull down double digit rebounds as well as score from the perimeter. <strong>Wonders </strong>is just so tough for opponents to match up with on every possession. If you like mental and physical toughness, this is your guy.
