There was plenty of basketball being played on the day we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Here are some of the top standouts from Monday’s MLK Day action.

Aminu MohammedAminuMohammed6'5" | SGSpringfield Greenwood | 2021State#19NationMO 6’5" Greenwood: After a pair of tough losses to Kickapoo and Hartville over the weekend, the Georgetown recruit erupted for 37 points and 11 rebounds in a 68-62 victory at Park Hill, which is one of the top teams in the Kansas City area. He was in attack mode from the opening tip as he scored 18 points in the first half to keep his team in contention. He was able to knock down some perimeter jumpers to loosen the defense up for his drive game. His rebounding and shot blocking was also on point.

Nyk Bryant 6’1" Park Hill: The athletic 2021 guard scored a team-high 20 points against Greenwood on Monday. He plays a much bigger game than his 6’1" height with his aggressive play and explosive leaping ability. He attacked the basket and was able to elevate over the much bigger Greenwood defenders inside. He was also able to mix in some mid-range jumpers to compliment the drive game.
