The Mid-East League featured some standout performers before the break:

Trey Harmison, junior, Riley County:

Harmison, who averaged 9 points per game as a sophomore, has been solid for the Falcons in the first month. He popped in 17 against Silver Lake and 21 against Beloit.

Keller Hurla, sophomore, St. Marys:

The Bears are never short of quality players, and Keller is the latest Hurla to make a name on the varsity team. The 5-foot-10 sophomore has been lighting up the nets, including a 22-point effort against Mission Valley, and 16 in the Bears’ lone loss to Hesston.

Brayden Meseke, junior, Wabaunsee:
Like Silver Lake, the month prior to the holiday was tough for the Chargers. Meseke is a powerful force who can score in a variety of ways, and will help get things rolling. He scored 21 against Rock Creek, including five 3-pointers.

Luke Womack, junior, Silver Lake:

The Eagles have come out of the gate slow. One player who is helping, primarily with his expert perimeter shooting, is Womack. The 5-foot-11 junior cashed in five 3-pointers against Riley County.
