Avery Holle, senior, Riley County:
The 6-foot-1 Holle has taken his game to the next level as a senior. After averaging 9 points per game as a junior, Holle has games of 15 against Silver Lke and 19 against Beloit. He’s also a strong rebounder and can get the ball to teammates. Last season he averaged 6 boards and 4 assists.
Brooks Whaley, senior, Rock Creek:

Whaley can contribute in the scoring department. He had 12 against Council Grove and averages about 9 per game.
Kade Perine, sophomore, Rossville:
Rossville is trying to rebuild, and Perine is a sparkplug who can help make the turnaround. He’s not out to score a ton, but he pushes the tempo, runs the offense and gives it his all on defense.
Dawson Wyre, senior, Silver Lake:
Like Rossville, Silver Lake is trying to build a new tradition. The 6-foot-4 senior Wyre is a big presence on the court and is giving good numbers against good opponents. He put in 13 against Riley County and 9 against St. Marys in the first month.
Isiah Holz, senior, St. Marys:
The #6 ranked Bears have tons of players. Everyone seems to understand his role. From one night to the next, it seems someone new steps up to make a big contribution. The 6-foot-2 Holz has made a real nice contribution, including 13-point outings against Royal Valley and Mission Valley.
Cade Oliver, junior, Wabaunsee:
The young Chargers are battling to build a winning tradition. Oliver has already played a ton of varsity basketball, and he’s doing his best to turn things around. His point total has increased with each game. His last two outings, he put up 11 against Frankfort, and 16 against Rock Creek.
