#3 ranked Madison (1A) picked up two wins this week, led by the 6-foot-5 Buettner. He doesn’t always have to lead the team in scoring, but his 16 points against Waverly and 13 against Burlingame were essential for the Bulldogs.

The senior guard is helping Madison remain among the top small school teams in the state. The 6-foot-1 senior popped for 15 in wins against Waverly and Burlingame.
Trever Quaney, junior, Burlingame:
The Bearcats lost a disappointing match with #3 Madison, but Quaney never disappoints. The 6-foot-7 junior scored 16 in the loss and had a string of 18, 19 and 17 in the past three games.
Damon Redeker, junior, Olpe:
Olpe, ranked #8 in 1A, continues to roll, and they seem to do it with a different combination every night. The Eagles stayed undefeated and are loaded with capable athletes. Tuesday, Redeker tossed in 10 in a blowout of Hartford.
Jordan Barnard, senior, Olpe:
Olpe is deep and balanced, but they are led by Barnard. The 6-foot-1 senior followed a 24-point outing with 12 in the blowout of Hartford.
