D1 Coaches should not wait any longer ! Riverside-Williamson Wing Avion Pinner Avion Pinner 6'9" | PF Concord Academy | 2023 State NC is the real deal! He’s gotten off to a nice start once again this season and has all the tools to be a special player on the next level. Pinner led his team a 54-49 win over rival Pamlico County, scoring 26 Points on the night.
Word of God Christian PG Khalil Marshall Khalil Marshall 6'1" | PG Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC is a player that seems as if he enjoys playing and performing in the big time games more than anything. Although he had some plays that weren’t necessarily the best decisions at certain moments, he had plenty of positive plays and he showed he can compete with some of the best.
Cape Fear HS Wing RJ McDonald put together an impressive performance and looks like he’s ready to take on the leadership role for his team. He was automatic from midrange, getting to his spots and getting his shot off without any problems. Defensively he impacts the game by using his wingspan and athleticism.
His team didn’t pull off the win on Saturday night but he got off to a great start and continues to prove why he should be picking up D1 offers. Word of God Christian SG Po King is in the debate as one of the best shooters in NC, he doesn’t take much time to get his shot off and has NBA three point shooting range which should help him transition pretty smoothly to the next level.
Jacksonville HS Wing Shawn Jones is continuing to showcase his ability as a next level prospect and in their latest game he put together one his best career games so far. Matched up against their cross town rivals, Jones put up a double/double of 28 Points and 10 Rebounds to help his team take Northside down to the wire.
