His shooting ability is the main attribute that you see from him consistently, he does a nice job of setting his feet and getting his shot off before the defense can recover. In their matchup with rival Fairmont HS , Miller went for 22 points to help his team secure the win.
Northside-Jax Forward Aaron Oates Aaron Oates 6'5" | SF Northside-Pinetown | 2021 State NC is a player that we have kept an eye on over the past few seasons and this year it seems as if he is turning the corner and has become one of the leaders for his team. He works inside the paint to make plays but also has shown some ability to stretch his offense out to the perimeter which is an attribute that college coaches will like since he stands at about 6’5.
Pender HS G/F Josef Fullwood has proven himself this season to be a legit college prospect, putting up big time numbers scoring and rebounding the ball. He’s constantly on the attack to get into the paint for buckets and has shown he is strong enough to play through quite a bit of contact. After three games this season his averages of 29 Points & 7 Rebounds a night are very impressive as well as the fact that he holds a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
St Pauls HS Forward Will Ford will play football on the college level, already signing to go to FAU next year but he’s making quite the impact on the court for his high school team this year. His strength and athleticism are what allows him to make his impact, throwing down dunks, rebounding and blocking shots are all things you will see from him.
Princeton HS Jaheim Taylor Jaheim Taylor 6'3" | CG Princeton | 2021 State NC has used this season to showcase why he should be considered a legit prospect and that continued on Friday night with a monster performance against Lakewood. Taylor went for 41 Points, scoring the ball in all types of ways which is something that we have seen from him on more than one occasion.
Croatan HS Guard Dustin Hayden made a big impact on Friday night with his scoring and defensive physicality which helped his team pull of a win over Pender. His shooting ability from three point land was huge as it seemed like every time his team needed a big bucket, he stepped up and provided it.
