Packers vs. Deacons in an EDC matchup.

Coming into the game West Fargo had an unblemished record sitting at 4-0 and ranked #2 in our Power Rankings. Shanley comes into this EDC matchup at 3-2. Early on in this one, it looked like the Packers would have their way with the Deacons. West Fargo burst out of the gate and opposed their will on Shanley. Brett LimkeBrettLimke6'1" | PGWest Fargo | 2022StateND, Carson HegerleCarsonHegerle6'3" | PGWest Fargo | 2022StateND, and Carter BirrenkottCarterBirrenkott6'5" | PFWest Fargo | 2021StateND scored with ease against the Shanley man-man defense. The Packers had an impressive start and had the score at 18-6 before things would change. Shanley switched to a 2-3 zone and changed the momentum of the game. The Deacons would go on a 9-0 run and close to gap to an 18-15 score in favor of the Packers. West Fargo did manage to find their footing and build the lead back up at the end of the half with a 27-19 lead.

For those of us that though West Fargo was out of the woods against the Shanley 2-3 zone, we were wrong. The Deacons kept the game close and within striking distance. Just when I thought West Fargo would finish them off Shanley came roaring back.
