5-10 PG Shannon Fountain – Westside-Macon
A terrific motor helps make Shannon Fountain an impact maker. He can play with blinding speed and will get even better as he learns to change speeds. He’s a playmaker with the ball, able to slash into the lane and finish in traffic while still taking the time to kick out to shooters. His quickness on defense frustrates opposing ball handlers. Crafting a consistent three-point shot will help bring Fountain’s game to the next level. He’s averaging 17.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.6 steals.
6-5 W Lamariyon Jordan Lamariyon Jordan 6'6" | SF Norcross | 2023 State #140 Nation GA – Dacula
Mari Jordan has taken the reins at Dacula and has been a standout since his freshman year. He’s wiry and long, making him a great defender that can stop multiple positions. Jordan is a well-rounded offensive threat. He can drive hard to the basket and finish in a crowd, but it’s his three-point shot that really keeps defenses off balance. He’s shooting 41% (22-54) from deep to start the year and is averaing 16.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 blocks.
6-8 C Keith Williams Keith Williams 6'8" | C Mt. Vernon Presbyterian | 2023 State GA – Mt. Vernon Presbyterian
Moving from McEachern to Mt. Vernon, Keith Williams Keith Williams 6'8" | C Mt. Vernon Presbyterian | 2023 State GA has found a home as a dominant force inside. He’s already picked up some D-I offers with his massive size and soft hands. Williams can score with his back to the basket but is also an exceptional rebounder and sneaky good passer. The 245-pounder is double-doubling at 14.8 points, 12.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. He has a chance to rapidly climb recruiting charts.
6-1 PG Kory Mincy Kory Mincy 6'1" | PG Tri-Cities | 2023 State GA – Luella
Off to their best start in years at 13-2, Luella has been paced by Kory Mincy Kory Mincy 6'1" | PG Tri-Cities | 2023 State GA , a fun guard with a variety of moves in his bag. Averaging 21 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists, Mincy is the catalyst to the Lions’ success. He’s a sharp playmaker with a lightning quick first step. He’s a knockdown shooter from the mid-range, able to pull-up on a dime. Mincy has tight handles and can wriggle his way through a defense to get to the hoop. His three-point shot is dangerous, allowing him to score at all three levels. Mincy is one of the best point guards in his class.
5-11 PG Keishawn Hampton Keishawn Hampton 6'1" | PG Collins Hill | 2023 State GA – Meadowcreek
A smooth guard with a lethal trigger, Keishawn Hampton Keishawn Hampton 6'1" | PG Collins Hill | 2023 State GA is known for his big shot making from the perimeter. He can get hot in a hurry, already with two games with five made three-pointers. He’s a smart ball handler that knows how to probe a defense and set up his teammates. Up against a tough schedule playing with a young cast, Hampton is averaging 10.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.7 steals.
6-10 C Aaron Jones – Veterans
Aaron Jones has continued to show flashes of what he could be in a few years. The long lanky post is putting up 6.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. Adding strength and some go-to moves will help with his consistency around the rim (40%), but his soft touch at the foul line (69%) shows he has plenty of promise to become a skilled big man. Schools will want to familiarize themselves with Jones as Veterans looks to make a deep playoff push.
