Prep Hoops Missouri continues it’s listing of the All Holiday All-Tournament Teams for the different parts of the state. Today, we feature the All-Tournament Team for Mid-Missouri. The main tournament in the area was the Machens Fantastic Four in Jefferson City, which was a Round Robin with Blair Oaks, Father Tolton, Helias and Jefferson City. Blair Oaks, Father Tolton and Helias all had 2-1 records, but Tolton took home the first-place trophy on the tie-breaker.

His is a gifted low-post scorer and those skills were on display with his ability to score in a variety of ways and pass it out of double teams to open teammates. His perimeter game is also nice as he can step out and shoot the 3-pointers and handle it. Very fluid. He reminds me of former DeSmet High standout Nolan Berry. If you are Division I coach, you may want to familiarize yourself with Wardsville, Mo.

Jevon PorterJevonPorter6'9" | PFFather Tolton | 2022StateMO 6’11" Father Tolton: The 2022 wing player averaged close to 20 points a game as Tolton picked up a pair of victories. Although he is one of the tallest players in the state, he is a perimeter player and those skills have improved over the course of the year. He has handles and 3-point shooting range and and the ability to get buckets at all three levels. His basketball ceiling is still very high as he continues to grow and gain physical strength. He has committed to Pepperdine.
Desmond WhiteDesmondWhite6'0" | CGHelias | 2023StateMO 6’0" Helias: The 2023 combo guard is a serious offensive threat who can light it from all three levels. He was tremendous in the Crusaders’ victory over Blair Oaks when he scored 28 points, including 20 in the second half. When he wasn’t knocking down 3-pointers, he was also scoring on slashing drives. He is also a ball hawk on defense who can create turnovers on the full court press.

Luke NorthweatherLukeNorthweather6'9" | PFBlair Oaks | 2022StateMO’s Mr. Inside. He has three-level scoring ability with deep range and the ability to create. He plays with good pace in the open court and he can be disruptive on defense with his active hands on the full court press.
Malcolm Davis 6’0" Helias: The 2022 guard averaged 16 points in leading the Crusaders to a couple of victories at Jefferson City. He is an excellent 3-point shooter, but he has also worked to diversify his offensive game. He has developed a very effective mid-range jumper to compliment his 3-point shooting.
Kyle Eckhoff 6’3" Lincoln: The 2023 guard was the Most Valuable Player of the Otterville Tournament after leading Lincoln to the championship. I like his combination of size, athleticism and court savvy from the guard position. He plays with a nice easy flow with the ability to knock down mid-range jumpers or pull up from 3-point range. He had a high of 29 points in the semifinals against Otterville where he got buckets from everywhere. He can also pass it well and play solid defense.
